Microneedling is performed using an electric handheld device with single use disposable cartridges. The treatment is aimed at stimulating the body's own collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, skin laxity and scarring.

Temporary redness and sensitivity similar to a mild sunburn is common for 24-48 hours post treatment.  Pinpoint bleeding can occur and usually only leaves redness and mild inflammation for 2-4 days.
