The teeth whitening gel that we use at Lumi Medispa does not damage enamel and only affects the color of the dentin. However, individuals with tooth decay or other damage should avoid any teeth whitening treatments until they seek professional dental assistance and advice. We are not dentists and cannot diagnose oral or dental disorders. As a precaution, women who are pregnant or suspect that they may be pregnant should not do any teeth whitening treatment without first consulting their doctor. You will need to provide clearance from the doctor and sign a waiver.

No serious adverse side effects. A small percentage of people do experience blanching of the gum line, a mild tingling sensation, or sensitivity, all of which typically last no more than 24 hours and can be alleviated by applying vitamin E oil to the teeth and/or gums.

We recommend avoiding coffee, tea, red wine, berries, candy, red sauces, and other teeth-staining foods and beverages for the first 24 hours after your session. Remember, though, that you can protect your teeth from staining with one of our enamel boosting products, and you don’t have to wait to eat anything you want if you choose to apply a remineralizer after your session.

The Liquid Facelift is a facial contouring procedure with strategically placed Anti-Wrinkle Injections and dermal fillers around the face. This "injectable facelift" can create a younger, plumper look and address concerns like lines, wrinkles, volume loss and sagging.

Results are immidiate, although swelling, bruising and tenderness is common and lasts approximately 7 days. Please do not touch, rub or massage the treated area as this can alter the shape of the injected dermal filler. If you have a big event coming up, we recommend booking at least a week or two prior just in case there is any bruising or swelling.

To maintain the results you have achieved you’ll need a follow-up treatment after six to nine months for lines, wrinkles and folds, and after approximately six months for lips.

Dermal filler is not recommended in these cases and so we will not carry out the treatment.

An electric skin needling device, that is shaped like a pen is used. The device is a pen shape, with a single use disposable cartrige which is studded with 12 very fine needles. It is a medical device used in micro needling to break down old scar tissue and to stimulate collagen production. The device slides along the skin, penetrating the upper layers of the skin to a depth of up to 2mm to create numerous tiny needle wounds. These micro injuries to the skin is what stimulated the cells to produce new collagen, therefore reducing scarring, wrinkles and pigmentation

Most people will experience redness and mild swelling similar to a mild sunburn for 24-48 hours and there may be minimal pin-point bleeding and/or bruising. Skin may peel. An oxygeneo session is recommended 1 week after the treatment.

Numbing cream is applied prior to your session, so that the treatment is comfortable.

Microneedling can be repeated every 4 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 weeks between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 3 to 6 treatments are recommended. The number of treatments required will depend on how each individual responds to the treatments, and the extent of the damage at the beginning. To ensure the right healing environment, for 2-3 days do not use AHA’s (glycolic Acid), retinol, acidic or “active” ingredients. Exposure to sun should also be avoided or zinc based sunblock should be used.
